California’s Great America will keep on rolling past Labor Day this year. The Santa Clara amusement park is extending its season on weekends until Nov. 1 in honor of its 50th anniversary. This is especially significant given that the park faces closure after the 2027 season unless its lease is renewed.

In 2022, the land beneath the park was sold to Prologis, a real estate development company, which is considering other options for the 112-acre prime property.
