A woman driving in Brentwood early Saturday morning was killed after a collision with a tractor, according to police.

Brentwood police said in a statement that the 56-year-old woman, who has not been identified, was driving at about 6:15 a.m. near the intersection of Sand Creek Road and Shady Willow Lane when her vehicle collided with an agricultural tractor.
First responders attempted to save her life but she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No other details about the crash were available.
“The cause of the collision remains under investigation,” the statement says. “At this time, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.”
