MORGAN HILL – A YMCA of Silicon Valley summer camp counselor has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a third 10-year-old girl during a field trip in June, police said.

Anthony Joseph Ramon, 25, of Gilroy, was first arrested on July 9 and charged with committing lewd and lascivious acts on a minor, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department.
On July 16, Ramon was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a second girl, police said.
Detectives identified a third victim and secured a $50,000 warrant for Ramon’s arrest on July 24, police said. Ramon was taken into custody Monday and released after he posted bail.

All three incidents happened during a field trip to the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center in June, police said.
The YMCA of Silicon Valley placed Ramon on leave during the initial investigation, according to police. He has worked for the nonprofit organization since Aug. 6, 2024.
