SAN JOSE – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car Wednesday in San Jose, police said.

The incident happened around 3:50 p.m. at King and McKee roads, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Police said the bicyclist was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver, meanwhile, remained at the scene.

Both directions of King and McKee roads are closed while officers investigate the collision.
