Today — Friday, June 5 — is National Doughnut Day, and the nation’s major chains and other shops are celebrating with promotions.
KRISPY KREME: At Krispy Kreme locations, you can stop by for a free doughnut. No purchase is required. A second deal: When you buy any dozen doughnuts, you can get a dozen Original Glazed for just $2. If you order online, use the code BOGO2.
DUNKIN’: Today, Dunkin’ customers will receive a free doughnut of their choice with the purchase of any beverage (while supplies last). Available at participating locations.
PARIS BAGUETTE: Members of the Paris Baguette rewards club can get a free sugar mochi or small twisted doughnut with making a purchase.

DUCK DONUTS: This national chain, with a sole Bay Area location in Walnut Creek, will give a free classic doughnut today to anyone who stops in at the shop. The classic array includes glazed, cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, maple and more. Other deals offer savings: Buy a classic half-dozen for $6 or half-dozen of the party doughnuts for $8.
7-ELEVEN: At participating stores, members of the 7Rewards club may purchase classic glazed doughnuts for 50 cents each today, while supplies last. Also, 7Select Mini Donut packs are available for just $1; that deal is valid through June 23.
YUM YUM DONUTS: This SoCal-based chain, whose shops are open 24 hours a day, doesn’t have a Doughnut Day deal per se, but its shops always put 14 doughnuts in every dozen box. That two-free deal is available to all customers year-round.
