Orlando Police Department records show that the grappler, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, is accused of engaging in an “uncontrollably intimate” display of affection by an Orlando man who was also using the lift.
The accuser said that when the elevator reached the 12th floor of their luxury building, he asked Kaiser and his companion to “please have some manners.”
Kaiser allegedly responded by punching the victim “multiple times and pushing him to the ground,” then making further threats of violence.
Officers reported seeing “a large, fresh scratch” on the back of the victim’s head that was consistent with a physical altercation.
Surveillance video viewed by authorities also appears to support the accuser’s claims.

Police said the victim wasn’t familiar with Kaiser, but picked the 6-foot and 2-inch wrestler out of a photo lineup. The German performer is charged with misdemeanor battery in connection with the incident that occurred last month. He was arrested Wednesday after surrendering to authorities.
His defense attorney filed a motion Thursday asking that Kaiser be allowed to travel over state lines while the case is being resolved. Kaiser was said to have been working in Mexico when he learned there was a warrant for his arrest.
Florida lawyer Tom Sommerville told the Daily News that his client plans to plead not guilty and has no further comment.
WWE describes Kaiser as “a true mat magician as well as a no-nonsense competitor” who shouts “nein” at his opponents when they get under his skin.
