A video posted on NorCal Resist’s Facebook page shows an unmarked car, now confirmed by local law enforcement to be federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, attempting to leave an area by Locust and Clover streets. As the Tahoe makes its escape, the vehicle swerves and looks to have struck a pedestrian, causing them to flip over the front, passenger side of the car.
WPD responded and is now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Woodland PD responded, contacted the involved parties, and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,” a post from the department’s Facebook reads. “We understand the community’s interest and will provide additional information as appropriate.”

Woodland’s U.S. Congressional Rep. Mike Thompson also released a statement following the accident, calling for immediate accountability and transparency.
“ICE cannot continue to terrorize our communities,” Thompson stated. “No one is above the law. ICE’s actions have contributed to growing distrust and fear within our communities, making transparency and accountability all the more critical. Members of our community need to feel safe.”
