SAN BRUNO — A 32-year-old San Francisco man was arrested in connection with a stabbing Wednesday in San Bruno, police said.

The stabbing happened around 1:05 p.m. in the 700 block of Kains Avenue, near El Camino Real, according to the San Bruno Police Department. Officers arrived to find a person suffering from an apparent stab wound and receiving assistance from a good Samaritan.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

Officers identified the 32-year-old San Francisco man as a suspect in the case and arrested him on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to police. He was later booked into San Mateo County jail.
