Kehlani is heading back to the Bay Area in a major way.
The Oakland R&B/hip-hop/pop star, who seems to grow more popular with every passing week, is set to perform not just one but two big nights at the largest amphitheater in all of the Bay Area — Shoreline Amphitheatre.
So expect big turnouts of “Day One” fans as well as newer listeners when the Kehlani World Tour hits the Mountain View venue on Oct. 3 and 4.
The singer, who first came to fame as a member of the teen pop group PopLyfe on the TV show “America’s Got Talent” in 2011, is supporting a self-titled release that came out in April. The record includes guest appearances from Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, Brandy, Clipse, Usher, Cardi B, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Big Sean and Leon Thomas.
