OAKLAND — A 33-year-old San Leandro man was fatally shot Sunday morning in a downtown parking lot, authorities said.

His name has not been released pending notification of his family.
The shooting happened at 2:46 a.m. on the 1400 block of Harrison Street.
The man was found with at least one gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Homicide investigators are trying to confirm why the man was in Oakland.
A motive for the killing is under investigation. No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.
