The white Nissan Altima described in an Amber Alert related to the “Baby Angelita” case has been found in Monterey County according the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Diana Galvez Ortega, the 14-year-old being sought, is still being searched for.

The Sheriff’s Office says they have received hundreds of calls, emails and messages containing information related to the investigation since the Amber Alert was issued.
“We recognize that the community has many questions and wants additional information, and we understand that not having those answers can be frustrating. At this time, however, there are details we cannot release without potentially jeopardizing the investigation and our efforts to safely locate Diana.

“We also ask the public to remain alert for Diana and Sergio and to immediately report any information that may help investigators locate them,” said the Sheriff’s Office press release.
Sergio Galvez Perez is described in the release as a 38-year-old Hispanic male adult around 5-feet, 5-inches tall and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Diana Galvez Ortega is described as around 4-10 and 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
