In early 2027, the Girl Scouts of the USA will begin selling their first-ever cookie creation for dogs, along with a new flavor for allergy-sensitive humans.

Both will be available online only — no booth sales — according to the GSUSA announcement issued Tuesday, with shipping from Jan. 12 through the traditional cookie sales season.
Patch Pals, a blueberry muffin-inspired flavor for pooches, will be made for the Scouts by the Bark company, a Kansas-based dog-food and toy specialist.
Bark’s dog food is “formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for all life stages,” according to the Scouts.
As such, the boxes will provide guidelines for how many of these snacks (made with wheat flour, blueberries, canola oil, honey, brewer’s yeast, among other ingredients) are appropriate for dogs of various sizes that are over 6 months of age.
For example, the “suggested daily serving” for dogs 5 to 10 pounds is just one-half of one Patch Pal. Dogs in the 25-pound range may have one Patch Pal and 50-pounders may have two, according to the guidelines.

The other new cookie, Sparkables, was designed to “give families navigating the most common food allergies a way to feel more included during Girl Scout Cookie season,” the organization said.
These crunchy oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles were developed with Partake Foods, a New Jersey-based company launched in 2016 by the mother of a girl with multiple allergies.
All products made by Partake are listed as free from the top nine major food allergens: wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, fish, sesame and shellfish.
