Los Altos flag football player Sabrina Neal is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for Aug. 24-29.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Neal had 55.4% of the vote to finish ahead of James Logan volleyball player Chelsea Branley, who took second at 41.4%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Neal, a senior, ran for 125 yards and four touchdowns and passed for 137 yards and two TDs in a rout of Homestead.
