Officers were called to the 2300 block of University Avenue around 2:20 p.m. for reports of a person “acting erratically and disrobing in public,” the East Palo Alto Police Department said in a news release. They arrived to find a man suffering from significant facial injuries.
The victim told officers he had been attacked, police said. He also identified the person who allegedly assaulted him.
Officers arrested that person on suspicion of assault resulting in great bodily injury and a parole violation, police said. The suspect was booked into San Mateo County jail.
