The 82nd Santa Clara County Fair continues its run today and Sunday in San Jose, with rides operating until 11 p.m. today and 10 p.m. Sunday (gates open at 1 p.m.).

The fairgrounds on Tully Road will have Alaskan pigs racing, kids screaming on carnival rides and the usual assortment of huge corndogs, strawberry shortcakes and a variety of new fair food like tamales, bao buns and kabobs.
Adults can check out the Heritage Hall, where displays of memorabilia will relive decades of fairgrounds history. For kids, there are pony and camel rides and a petting zoo.
