SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks got another key piece of business done this week, announcing Friday that they’ve signed restricted free agent forward Collin Graf to a three-year, $12.75 million contract extension.

The deal carries an average annual value of $4.25 million and buys up three of Graf’s RFA seasons. Graf was coming off a three-year contract he signed with the Sharks as a college free agent in April 2024. He is slated to become an unrestricted free agent in 2030.
The Sharks on Wednesday signed center Macklin Celebrini to a five-year, $94 million contract extension that begins in 2027-28.

After the Celebrini deal was completed, Sharks general manager Mike Grier mentioned that he was also nearing a new deal for the do-everything Graf.
“Collin was a big part of our team’s improvement this past season, being an effective penalty killer for us, and his versatility in the lineup was extremely valuable,” Grier said in a statement. His hard-working attitude and work ethic are a big reason why his game took another stride last year, and he continues to be an important person in our young group of players. We’re happy we are able to keep him a Shark for the next several seasons.”
