ANTIOCH — An investigation involving possible homemade explosive devices led authorities to a home in Antioch on Thursday, police said.

The Antioch Police Department — along with the Walnut Creek Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives — served a search warrant at 10 a.m. in the 4000 block of Royal Links Circle, according to Lt. Bill Whitaker.
“The scene has been secured, and investigators have determined there are no ongoing public safety concerns,” Whitaker said in a news release Thursday afternoon.

The investigation remains “active and ongoing,” Whitaker said. No other details were released Thursday.
