From now through Aug. 2, the food emporium at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara will offer special menus, tastings, products and recipe demos featuring 10 regional pestos made with ingredients such as bell peppers, eggplant, citrus, pistachios, tomatoes and arugula.
A $26 two-course, all-day menu starts with an appetizer choice and
then a pasta course with your choice of pesto. A $55 fixed-price meal starts with antipasto with a traditional basil pesto, then offers a pasta course featuring Sicilian pistachio pesto and a main course with either citrus pesto (branzino) or smoked red bell pepper pesto (beef).

Chef demos are scheduled for noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on July 25, July 26 and Aug. 1, and there’s a blind tasting planned on Aug. 2 from noon to 5 p.m.
