New York City-based Shake Shack celebrates what it thinks Californians eat with a new West Coast menu.

It includes three new items that are a “chef-driven take on classic roadside burger stands,” according to a news release.
The West Coast Burger features one, two or three Angus beef patties slathered in a secret sauce, plus American cheese, caramelized onions and honey mustard pickles on a toasted potato bun. It costs about $10.79-$16.29.
This might be a good choice for fans of messy burgers, requiring five napkins minimum.
A West Coast Chicken Sandwich features chicken breast topped with avocado, lettuce, tomato and a new Sour Cream & Onion Sauce, also on a toasted potato bun. It costs about $10.49.

And West Coast Loaded Fries are the chain’s crinkle-cut fries topped with cheddar and American cheese, secret sauce and caramelized onions for about $6.99.
If you order at a kiosk or online, you will likely be invited to add bacon to any of these items for $1.99 extra.
Shake Shack has also brought back its Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake from last summer. It’s made with toasted Katafi shredded phyllo and chopped pistachios and topped with a dark chocolate shell. It costs about $9.99.
All these items are available for a limited time.
There’s also a summer deal: a Vienna Beef hot dog with fries or lemonade for $7. “Summer sips” include Mini Passionfruit Popping Boba Lemonade, Sparkling Cucumber Basil and a Tropical Mango Shake with Passionfruit Popping Boba.
