RICHMOND – An investigation is underway into a shooting that left two people injured Wednesday in Richmond, police said.

The incident happened in the 400 block of Wilson Avenue, the Richmond Police Department said in a social media post.
Police said one victim was airlifted to an area trauma center.
“This remains an active crime scene,” police said. “We are asking the public to please stay out of the area.”
