SAN RAMON — Crews on Monday night were battling a wildfire east of San Ramon.
Dubbed the Collier Fire, the blaze ignited around 7:40 p.m. near Collier Canyon and Highland roads, according to Watch Duty, a nonprofit organization and app that tracks fires.

Forward progress of the fire was stopped at 20 acres, the Cal Fire Santa Clara Unit said in a social media post shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday. The blaze was 0% contained.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage to structures.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
