There are no outstanding suspects or threats to the SJSU community, said Captain Jermaine Thomas, public information officer for the SJSU Police Department.
Officers responded to SJSU’s West Garage, located at 350 S. 4th St., just after 2 p.m. to reports of two people unresponsive inside a vehicle, Thomas said.
When officers located the vehicle, they made contact with the two individuals and found them unresponsive, Thomas said. Officers provided medical aid until paramedics from the San Jose Fire Department arrived on scene. The paramedics provided further medical aid, then pronounced the two individuals dead.

The two deceased individuals were a male and a female who were not affiliated with SJSU, Thomas said.
Their identities will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office pending identification.
The incident remains under investigation but authorities do not currently believe that any foul play was involved, Thomas said. The parking garage is open to the public and does not require an affiliation with the school to park.
