OAKLAND — A man was stabbed to death in an East Oakland park Saturday night, authorities said.

Police were trying to confirm the man’s identity. He is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, according to the Oakland Police Department.
The man was found about 6:49 p.m. in the 1700 block of E. 19th St. inside San Antonio Park. He was suffering from an apparent stab wound, according to police.
He was taken to a hospital where he died a few hours later.
Police believe the man got into a dispute with another person before he was stabbed. A motive for the attack has not been released.

No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.
The killing is the 20th homicide investigated by OPD this year. Last year at this time, police had investigated 34 homicides in the city.
