The festival is a historically significant event that has been celebrated on 41 occasions since 1900. The Saratoga Historical Foundation has put on the event for the last 10 years.
The festival was originally scheduled for June 13 in the city’s Heritage Orchard. A Saratoga Historical Foundation board member said in an email “the museum did not have the requisite resources needed to manage the large and complex festival this year.”
In 2024, the event was rained out in April and rescheduled for June 8.

The workshop series helps students prepare an art portfolio for college applications. It involves intensive drawing and painting, ranging from life drawing, master studies, still life and portraiture. Artists of all abilities are welcome, whether they are participating for fun or to reach their academic goals.
Instructor Gabriel Coke offers five-day workshops from 1-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at $550 per week. He is offering instruction for six weeks June 8-July 24. Workshops during the fourth week will take place in Gualala Arts Center in Mendocino County.
Students who want to paint must buy their own brushes and panels, but all oil paint is provided. Coke’s studio uses “oil only” safe practices and solvent-free paint. For more information, contact Coke at 831-345-1845 or email [email protected].
