This year marks the 80th anniversary for the San Francisco 49ers, the storied NFL franchise founded in 1946. With that significant number in mind, the team has introduced new fan merchandise, branding and signage, and the chefs and concession partners at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara — the team’s third home — have amped up their game-day offerings for the 49er Faithful.

Long gone are the days when your season-ticket-holding uncle would brown bag it for a Kezar game or grab a hot dog from a Candlestick vendor. Professional chefs from the Levi’s Stadium culinary partner, Levy Restaurants, create lavish new spreads for fans with seats in the suites. And, along with Bay Area restaurant chefs, they take advantage of trendsetting ideas for fans sitting in the stands.
Here’s a sampling from the unveiling of new menu items ahead of Sunday’s home opener against the Miami Dolphins. Meaty, saucy options abound, and loaded nachos and fries with awesome toppings will be big this year.
Keep checking back because we’ll add more returning favorites and menu details.
FOOD HIGHLIGHTS IN THE SUITES
Executive chef Alvin Kabiling, who brought a fine-dining background to his Levy role at the stadium, is now in his ninth season at Santa Clara. After designing new dishes for NFL fans attending the Super Bowl here in February, he and his team went to work on the 2026-27 Niners menu. Among the highlights for fans sitting in the suites:
Champions Steak Board: A massive grilled Porterhouse steak (49 ounces, naturally) comes with red chimichurri and horseradish crema. Accompaniments include petite roasted potatoes, grilled seasonal vegetables and honey brown butter Parker House rolls.
SF Crab Sandwich: For chef Kabiling’s “iconic” favorite, West Coast Dungeness crab salad is heaped onto toasted sourdough slices.
Smash Kitchen Hail Mary: This crispy chicken sandwich on a brioche bun is topped with pimento cheese and hot honey barbecue sauce.
The Cookie Collection: Besides cookies emblazoned with the jersey numbers of Niners greats from the past, the bakers have a new quartet of cookies in the flavors of Carrot Cake, Lemon Meringue, Red Velvet and Chocolate.
NEW IN THE STANDS (from stadium chefs)
Sourdough Sam Melt: This cheesesteak, with the requisite melty combo of steak, cheese, peppers and onions, is served on sourdough.

Silva Dynasty Loaded Dog: A topping of Pork Birria Jam gives this hot dog a sweet-and-savory punch.
Cinna Sundae Smash: This cinnamon extravaganza features warm bite-size cinnamon rolls served over vanilla ice cream, then topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon cereal crumble.
More: Tostitos’ Loaded Nachos come topped with jerk chicken, while teriyaki chicken stars in the Gold Rush Rice Bowl.
NEW IN THE STANDS (from local restaurant partners)
Konjoe Burger: This South Bay standout is supplementing its burgers this season with brisket. The crispy Texas Fries are loaded with chopped brisket, melted queso, pickled jalapeños and a chipotle barbecue drizzle, and The Big Tex puts brisket and all the good stuff on a sandwich bun.
Toto’s Pizzeria: The San Bruno and Belmont classic, in business since 1932, is back for a third season with a new offering, Baked Ravioli. Several generations of the Spadarella family will again be making and serving personal-size Neapolitan-style Pizzas, along with Cannoli from an old family recipe.
Puesto: This artisanal taco specialist, with NorCal restaurants in Santa Clara and Concord, will be making Chicken Verde Nachos and Short Rib BBQ Nachos for fans this season. If you can’t make it to Levi’s, those Chicken Verde Nachos, which deliver a bit of a kick, will show up on the restaurant menus.
Kabob Trolley: The wife-and-husband owners of this cable car-themed food truck and catering company, Ghezal and Yasir Wesa, are again presenting an all-halal menu of Afghan-fusion street food, including gyros, hummus and a falafel wrap. New are the Beef/Lamb Hella Fries. The Contra Costa County couple launched the SF-based business in 2013.
Scratch Cookery: The cooks will emerge from their Fountain Alley home in downtown San Jose to serve Nashville Chicken Sliders and Mac n Cheese.
