Marshawn English, 28, was charged with two counts of pandering and one misdemeanor count of aiding prostitution after the Sept. 23 sting. The women were standing near 17th Avenue and International Boulevard when English allegedly approached and leaned out of a car’s rear window to speak to them.
“I can make you millions,” he allegedly offered, before explaining they’d need to pay $2,500 and chiding them for “disloyalty” to their current pimps.
At some point, the women revealed themselves to be undercover cops and English was arrested. He has been released while the case is pending and isn’t due in court for a preliminary hearing until mid-November, records show. He pleaded not guilty on Sept. 28.
