A woman in her 30s was found dead Saturday at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of California St. in Berkeley, police said in a press release.

Officers responded to a call around noon after a property manager reported finding the body in one of the units where she apparently lived. Police have not released the woman’s name or cause of death, stating the investigation is in the preliminary stages.
The case is being investigated by Berkeley Police Department’s homicide unit detectives, along with the Alameda County Coroner’s Office.
