BRENTWOOD — A fight between a large group of people under 18 years old led to the discovery of a replica Glock-style gun and ended with a person hospitalized, police said.

The brawl happened at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday in the downtown parking structure on City Park Way.
In a statement, Brentwood police said a number of the people involved in the fight ran from the scene as officers arrived. Officers detained many of the people in the fight after chasing them down and later found the replica Glock gun, police said.
None of the people police detained or arrested were adults. Police said two of them were booked into Juvenile Hall, while the others were released to their parents pending additional proceedings.

One of the underaged people involved in the fight went to a hospital by ambulance for treatment of undisclosed injuries, police said.
No officers were injured.
Police said they identified everyone involved in the fight and that the combatants are believed to know one another. They added that they don’t believe there is any further threat to the community.
