LINCOLN — Five people were stabbed Wednesday night at a Placer County casino, and another person was arrested, authorities said.

All five of the victims were expected to survive. One of them went by ambulance to a hospial, and the other four were treated at the scene by Cal Fire personnel and emergency medical personnel from the casino.

The violence happened about 7 p.m. at the Dos Coyote inside the Thunder Valley Casino, located on Athens Avenue. In a statement, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office said it appears the suspect knew all five victims. They did not identify the suspect immediately.
