After 33 years, the Barnes & Noble in Redwood City announced that it will be shuttering its doors next month. The store’s last day is Sept. 16, according to a statement on its Instagram account.

The post cited the end of the store’s lease without an option to continue and that it will be seeking a new location. When the Almaden Barnes & Noble closed last year after 26 years there was an emotional reaction from the community about a place to browse for books, magazines, puzzles and even grab a cup of coffee.
Before the final day at the Redwood City location, the store will offer big, final clearance discounts on its inventory. After that, it urges customers to visit two nearby locations:

In addition there will be a new Barnes & Noble opening in the fall in Cupertino at 20740 Stevens Creek Blvd.
