The Italian American Heritage Foundation is hosting the 44th annual Italian Family Festa July 25-26 at History Park San Jose.

The free festa features a wine garden and tastings, a cultural and culinary stage, live entertainment, a grape stomp, Roman encampment and sword demos, a children’s zone and an Italian fashion show.
The festa takes place Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, July 26, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at History Park, 635 Phelan Ave., San Jose. For more information, visit bit.ly/4pfByuF.
Small business workshop
Lucy Wang, co-founder and CEO of Pocketflows will be the speaker at a July 29 workshop at Venture Dock in Milpitas on “Practical Strategies to Attract Customers, Build Loyalty and Stand Out.”
The free hands-on workshop is designed to show small business owners how artificial intelligence can help with marketing. Participants don’t need a technical background.

Accessing military records
The Milpitas Library is hosting a July 25 seminar on how U.S. military records can enrich genealogy research by revealing an ancestor’s life, service and character. Genealogy author Ron Chan will show participants how to access and interpret these records and create a memorial page. Chan is co-founder of the Chinese American GI Project, which works to ensure that veteran legacies are not lost, forgotten or ignored.
The program, part of the Santa Clara County Library District’s celebration of America 250, is set for 1-3 p.m.
