A rustic cabin and the stunning beachfront land around it, once owned by famed poet and San Francisco’s City Lights Bookstore founder Lawrence Ferlinghetti, has been listed for $2 million.

The 2.61-acre property is being sold by the Beat Generation poet’s son, Lorenzo Ferlinghetti. It includes a cabin, a meditation hut, trout ponds, and private access via a residents-only pathway to a secluded beach.
The land helped inspire the landmark novel Big Sur, which legendary poet Jack Kerouac wrote after a stay in the area at the invitation of pal Ferlinghetti.
