MILLBRAE — An 18-year-old San Bruno woman has been arrested on suspicion of brandishing a gun during a fight at a public park in Millbrae, according to authorities.

Deputies were called to Green Hills Park on Tuesday for reports of a fight, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. They arrived to find a large group of people leaving the area.
The sheriff’s office said deputies learned a suspect “brandished and pointed a loaded firearm at multiple people during the fight.” Witness statements and video evidence were used to identify the woman as the suspect.
Deputies found the woman nearby and also recovered a gun, which had been reported stolen in San Francisco, the sheriff’s office said.

In addition to brandishing a gun, the woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm, carrying a concealed loaded weapon, carrying a loaded stolen firearm, criminal threats and possessing, purchasing or using tear gas or a tear gas weapon.
The woman was booked into the Maple Street Correctional Center in Redwood City. She was still being held Thursday on $350,000 bail, according to jail records.
