CONCORD — Two people are suspected of accosting a customer inside a store at the Sunvalley Shopping Center on Tuesday and fleeing with necklaces that they ripped from the person’s body, police said.

The robbery near the women’s department at a clothing store in the mall happened about 3:10 p.m.
In a statement, police said both of the suspects were males and wore masks. Police said the two approached a person and grabbed more than one necklace off the person’s neck, leading to a fight that ended with the two suspects running from the store.

The victim suffered injuries that police said were minor.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from the store in an attempt to identify the suspects and determine whether they used a vehicle to escape.
