SUNNYVALE — Authorities are searching for a man they say videoed a woman while she showered at a gym in Sunnyvale.

The incident happened at the 24-Hour Fitness located at 762 Sunnyvale Saratoga Road around 4:35 a.m. on May 16, according to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Authorities said the man entered the gym unnoticed and immediately made his way into the women’s locker room, where he was caught recording the woman while she showered.
After being confronted, the man left the area on foot. He had not been found as of Wednesday.

Authorities described the suspect as Black, in his 20s, and of average height and build. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants and a black backpack with a distinctive white stripe across the bottom. The cellphone he used to film the victim was blue, authorities said.
