MORGAN HILL — A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a car Monday in Morgan Hill, police said.
The crash was reported around 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of Monterey Road and East Middle Avenue, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department. Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist “suffering from severe injuries.”
The motorcyclist was taken to an area trauma center, where he remained in critical condition Tuesday.
Police said the collision ignited a small grass fire, which was quickly extinguished by the Morgan Hill Fire Department.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police did not immediately know if alcohol or drugs were factors.
