The downsizing arrives on the heels of the company\u2019s announcement that it would reorganize into what it hopes will be a more efficient organization.<\/p>\n<p>The company envisions a structure with three businesses: checkout solutions and PayPal, consumer financial services and Venmo, and payment services and crypto, PayPal stated in an announcement in April.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo accelerate growth and unlock our full potential, we need to recommit to our fundamentals,\u201d PayPal CEO Enrique Lores said.
