The weekend festivities featured entertainment, vendors, and food at Plaza Park, where a two-day festival was held.<\/p>\n

The festival and parade started in 1975 as a gay rights rally and evolved into San Jose Pride Festival in 1976. In 2014 the name was changed to Silicon Valley Pride Parade.<\/p>\n
