I was actually at his house,\u201d Paris said.\u00a0 \u201cI knew it wasn\u2019t going to hurt me, it\u2019s like the woman in King Kong at the end.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Paris added that he was glad he wasn\u2019t on his towel, where he had been just minutes earlier, right where the snake headed as it went into the brush toward the hills.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He said he alerted two other girls on the beach\u2014 joking that it was like a game of telephone and up to them to warn others \u2014 before packing up his stuff and heading home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t get over that they swim,\u201d he said. \u201cThe poor thing was so hot, I\u2019m assuming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the first time a rattlesnake has crossed paths with beachgoers at Crystal Cove;
