Police said investigators worked with other law enforcement agencies and used automated license plate reader technology to identify a license plate for the 2017 Nissan Maxima. The car was then placed on a statewide alert list.<\/p>\n<p>Officers found the car Monday evening in Vallejo.<\/p>\n<p>The search is continuing for the suspected shooter and getaway driver, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting was reported just after 12:15 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Del Norte Plaza shopping center, located at 11299 San Pablo Ave. Police said officers arrived to find a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound near the Los Moles restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nextcitydigest.com\/?p=7678\">San Francisco crypto trading fund cofounder convicted of fraud<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Officers tried to provide medical aid, but the man died from his injuries, police said.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Witnesses told police the suspects got into a dispute with the victim at his car and shot him.
