Five teenage boys were killed when their car went off a Colorado cliff, police reported.<\/p>\n

The crash, believed to have occurred late Saturday, was discovered around 7:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, after a 911 caller reported wreckage below a neighborhood on a high bluff in Grand Junction.<\/p>\n

The car had apparently veered off Lookout Lane and gone off the edge, 250 feet above the Gunnison River, said the report from the city\u2019s police.<\/p>\n

The car\u2019s occupants were all 17-year-old boys, the Mesa County Coroner\u2019s Office said. Their names have not been officially released.<\/p>\n

Three, including the driver and the front-seat passenger, were wearing seatbelts. The two others were not, and were ejected from the car, the coroner\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpeed is being looked at as a factor in this crash,\u201d the police statement said.<\/p>\n
