Graf was coming off a three-year contract he signed with the Sharks as a college free agent in April 2024. He is slated to become an unrestricted free agent in 2030.<\/p>\n<p>The Sharks on Wednesday signed center Macklin Celebrini to a five-year, $94 million contract extension that begins in 2027-28.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nextcitydigest.com\/?p=5941\">Pulled over in Southern California neighborhood, driver opens trunk and shoots his kidnap victim<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After the Celebrini deal was completed, Sharks general manager Mike Grier mentioned that he was also nearing a new deal for the do-everything Graf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCollin was a big part of our team\u2019s improvement this past season, being an effective penalty killer for us, and his versatility in the lineup was extremely valuable,\u201d Grier said in a statement. His hard-working attitude and work ethic are a big reason why his game took another stride last year, and he continues to be an important person in our young group of players.
