Simone Biles revealed to fans that she was back in the hospital weeks after \u201calmost dying\u201d amid a health scare in early June.<\/p>\n

In a black and white photo shared to Instagram on Thursday, Biles can be seen sporting a hospital gown and shower cap to cover her hair. Despite her struggles, she\u2019s all smiles in the image, which also features her husband, Johnathan Owens. In the caption, Biles said her football-playing beau stood by her during the \u201cprocedure\u201d on Wednesday, which just so happened to fall on his 31st birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis birthday but he takes me to get my procedure,\u201d the 29-year-old Olympian wrote, adding a series of cutesy emojis. \u201cI woke up singing BossMan Dlow\u2019s \u2018Talk my S\u2014\u2018\u201d<\/p>\n

Biles did not provide any further information about her condition nor her recent procedure.<\/p>\n

On June 6, the gold medal-winner took to social media to let fans know she had suffered a life-threatening medical emergency. She shared an image of a hospital band on her wrist, telling her followers that she has been \u201cin bed resting this week\u201d in wake of the ordeal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today\u2019s age. But almost dying wasn\u2019t on my bingo card earlier this week,\u201d she wrote on her Instagram stories at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan was in Indy for practices,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019ll explain sooner or later but s\/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers. Loooovveeee y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n
