Malcolm-Jamal Warner\u2019s widow, who only went public with her identity following the beloved actor\u2019s fatal drowning in July 2025, emotionally reflected on his \u201cunfair\u201d death in a rare interview this week amid suing her mother-in-law for $1.2 million.<\/p>\n

Also Monday, news broke that Tenisha Warner \u2014 who shares a young daughter with the late actor \u2014 had sued Pamela Warner, who that night posted a statement about her grieving process. She also cryptically referred to \u201chow cruel, evil and greedy a human can be,\u201d as well as having \u201cdiscovered the depth of love, care, concern and support that humans are capable of.\u201d<\/p>\n

TMZ reported Tuesday that Tenisha had filed the lawsuit on the anniversary of her husband\u2019s sudden death. The interview Tenisha did with \u201cCBS Mornings\u201d co-anchor Gayle King preceded news of the filing, with King dubbing it \u201csurprising.\u201d<\/p>\n
