Draymond Green shared details about his much-publicized recent hang out with unrestricted free agent LeBron James.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the latest episode of his \u201cDraymond Green Show,\u201d Green expressed incredulity at the amount of discussion that him hanging out with his friend caused.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so I think us hanging out or us kicking it together, golfing together, whatever it is, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s really that newsworthy,\u201d Green said. \u201cBecause it\u2019s not like, \u2018Oh my God, they\u2019ve never hung out before and now all of a sudden free agency is going on and they\u2019re hanging out.\u2019 \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Green is also an unrestricted free agent, but he is expected to re-sign with the Warriors later this offseason. He declined his player option to give the team more financial flexibility.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though Green insisted the highlight of his trip was the amount of golf they played, he did add that he made his pitch to James, a fellow Klutch Sports Agency client, for why he should join the Warriors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOf course I did that and of course the pitch was crazy,\u201d Green said, adding. \u201cYou know, I\u2019d be crazy if we\u2019re together for X amount of days and at no point am I like \u2018Y\u2019all, we need to chop it up like what the hell going on, What\u2019s what we doing?\u2019 \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Green did not elaborate on what the selling points of the pitch were.<\/p>\n

The Warriors are one of the 10 teams that Klutch CEO Rich Paul has said has a realistic chance at signing James.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Green is not the only Warrior to publicly state why James, who played against the Warriors in four consecutive NBA Finals between 2015-18, should presumably end his career in the Bay Area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Steph Curry spoke about James at a celebrity golf tournament in Tahoe last week, and on Sunday afternoon Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg took the microphone during a Bleacher Report interview to give his two cents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI know you don\u2019t like rookies that much, but I\u2019m not your average rookie and I would love to learn under you,\u201d Lendeborg, nicknamed the \u201cDominican LeBron,\u201d said. \u201cWhen you\u2019re looking to play with the greatest shooter of all time and a close friend of Draymond. We\u2019ll be glad to have you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
