OAKLAND \u2014 Police say they\u2019ve identified the man who allegedly recruited two teen girls into being trafficked, right out of their Southern California group home.<\/p>\n

George Davis Jr., 32, of Richmond, was charged with human trafficking and pimping children, and remains behind bars at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. The charging records allege that Davis met the girls online, and drove roughly 275 miles from the Bay Area to a group home to pick them up and bring them back.<\/p>\n

The girls, aged 15 and 17, reportedly told police they left their group home in search of a better life. Instead, within days, they were being sexually abused by strangers for a fee, handing over their money to Davis, and being told to stay in a dangerous open-air prostitution market in Oakland without food, according to prosecutors.<\/p>\n

Davis allegedly told the girls they\u2019d be beaten by his friend, \u201cJuicy,\u201d if they disobeyed. Police identified \u201cJuicy\u201d as 38-year-old Monica Jackson, a Richmond resident who allegedly admitted to working with Jackson in the sex industry. She told police she thought both victims were 19, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Police rescued the girls after the 17-year-old called a dispatcher on June 4 and said she was being trafficked and needed help. While responding officers were interviewing the girls on 16th Avenue in Oakland, Jackson reportedly showed up.<\/p>\n

Police subsequently identified Davis as Jackson\u2019s pimp, through phone records and witness identification, according to court records. Davis and Jackson now both face criminal charges on the same docket.<\/p>\n

Davis allegedly drove to the group home to pick up the girls on May 29, just three weeks after he\u2019d been sentenced to probation in Contra Costa for organized retail theft and vehicle theft, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Both Jackson and Davis have pleaded not guilty and have yet to go before a judge for their preliminary hearing, records show.<\/p>\n
