Instead, the suit claims its organizers ended up inadvertently injuring one. The suit says that staffers were \u201cdirected\u201d to \u201cwalk on the carpet for photographic purposes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiff, Pamela Araujo, tripped on \u201cunsecured and loose carpet\u201d carpet, the suit says. A status conference two weeks ago failed to resolve the issues and the parties are set to meet again, but not until December, court records show.<\/p>\n<p>Public payroll records identify Araujo as a special education teacher who has worked for the district for nearly 15 years.
