In addition to the \u201cexcessive hours,\u201d she claimed she was assigned \u201cphysically demanding tasks, and high-pressure events\u201d despite telling Jenner and her supervisors of her high-risk pregnancy, which \u201crequired reasonable accommodations to protect her health.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:\u00a0Kylie Jenner sued by 2nd housekeeper who begged her to help stop the \u2018abuse\u2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The chef said she first started working for Jenner in November 2024, and she alerted her managers \u2014 who are also named in the suit \u2014 that she was three months pregnant a month later. The news was met with hostility, she claimed, specifically citing an incident weeks later on New Year\u2019s Eve the same year. That night, her supervisors instructed her to \u201clift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance,\u201d according to the lawsuit, per the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, she \u201cbecame dizzy, began choking and gasping for air, and required assistance from security personnel, who intervened by providing water and aid,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Then, in February 2025 \u2014 when she was five months pregnant \u2014 she was assigned to work Jenner\u2019s child\u2019s birthday party in Palm Springs, during which she was forced to work without \u201cadequate support.\u201d She added that when she asked for help, she was ignored by her supervisors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDue to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event,\u201d the lawsuit said. \u201cThat evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nextcitydigest.com\/?p=3082\">OpenAI weighs IPO in 2027 after expected Anthropic public debut<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next day, the chef woke up experiencing severe and intense blood loss.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>When she subsequently arrived at the hospital, she \u201cwas informed that there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child.\u201d She also suffered additional hemorrhaging after the miscarriage, and quickly fell into a depression, the lawsuit said.<\/p>\n<p>Despite informing her supervisors of her situation, she was told to pull it together for her employer\u2019s sake.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed,\u201d a supervisor allegedly said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to pregnancy discrimination and harassment, the chef said she was also misclassified as an independent contractor, did not get paid on time or for the appropriate hours she worked and was wrongfully terminated. She is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Her suit marks the third filed against Jenner by former employees in recent weeks.
