Net proceeds from the festival will benefit nonprofit organizations focused on advancing women and girls, according to organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Rodrigo will headline the festival alongside performances by Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, Eli, Garbage, Katseye, Mitski, Not for Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold and the Breeders. Special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks are also scheduled to appear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOlivia had expressed interest in the Great Park, and we did a site walk with her in 2025, and she was impressed by the Great Park,\u201d city of Irvine spokesperson Melissa Haley said, adding that since then, it\u2019s been a close, collaborative process between the city, Great Park Live and C3 Presents, an event promotion and production company headquartered in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The one-day festival is expected to draw about 40,000 attendees, according to Haley.<\/p>\n<p>She also noted that C3 Presents is leasing the Great Park for the event and will oversee many of the festival\u2019s operational elements. C3 Presents is \u201crenting the Great Park out as a reservation,\u201d Haley said, and per their contract with the city, \u201cthey\u2019re responsible for fees, load in, load out, AV, use of Great Park Live, those types of things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The festival will use two performance areas: the existing Great Park Live venue and a temporary Dandelion Stage to be built atop soccer fields 14-17, Haley said.<\/p>\n<p>Transportation and parking plans are still being finalized, though city officials say off-site parking and shuttle options will be available for attendees.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nextcitydigest.com\/?p=2856\">Star-studded lineup officially announced for 1st PayPal Park concert<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s going to be off-site parking and shuttles into the park. We don\u2019t have those locations yet,\u201d Haley shared, adding that details were still being finalized. \u201cWe\u2019re going to encourage folks to ride the train as well, and there will be parking in the park, but I don\u2019t know how they\u2019re going to set that up yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The city is also developing a \u201cdash pass\u201d program intended to help nearby residents access their neighborhoods during the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDaisy Chain Fields is a music festival founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change. It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring drivers of progress and social change. It\u2019s a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength, and action,\u201d Rodrigo shared in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe festival celebrates the voices, artistry, and contributions of women in music, fostering an inclusive environment in which all are welcome. Organizers said attendees will have opportunities to connect with organizations working in areas including reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, domestic violence prevention and gender equity.<\/p>\n<p>Among the nonprofit partners announced are Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women\u2019s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will be available through a presale beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24.
