Fairfield\u2019s organic olive oil producer IL Fiorello Olive Oil Company has earned recognition as one of the top producers in both the United States and the world after a successful showing at major international olive oil competitions.<\/p>\n

IL Fiorello was ranked ninth in the United States and 19th globally by the Olive Oil Times following results from five major 2026 olive oil competitions held in Italy, Japan, New York, Los Angeles and at the California State Fair.<\/p>\n

The rankings were based on performances in some of the largest olive oil quality competitions in the world, where hundreds of producers from dozens of countries compete for top honors.<\/p>\n

The family-owned company collected 29 awards during the 2026 competition season, including one Best of Class award, 14 gold awards, 10 silver awards, three bronze medals and one design award.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese medals are a testament to our team\u2019s passion, dedication and deep respect for the craft of producing olive oil,\u201d owner and master miller Ann Sievers said in a press release.<\/p>\n

Located on a 17-acre farm in Fairfield\u2019s Suisun Valley, IL Fiorello produces extra virgin olive oil from olives grown in its certified organic groves. In addition to olive oil production, the farm grows organic vegetables that are featured in guided olive oil tastings and served at the company\u2019s on-site bistro overlooking the property.<\/p>\n

The company also offers farm tours, olive oil tastings and gelato for visitors.<\/p>\n

Founded by Ann and Mark Sievers, IL Fiorello has built a reputation for artisan olive oil production and agritourism experiences that showcase locally grown foods and sustainable farming practices.<\/p>\n
